In 2004 NAIHC launched the "Housing First for First Americans Campaign," its first comprehensive initiative to help tribal housing authorities accelerate the rate of housing production, create jobs and eliminate rampant overcrowding, thereby improving the quality of life for current and future generations of Native Americans.
One of the initiatives under the goal to promote homeownership as a means to build wealth and assets, through education and consumer tools includes this "Native American Homebuyer" Website.
